About YUKI WANG

She started learning Guzheng at the age of 5, mentored by Guzheng artist Pei Dongmei. Achieve Level 10 certificate in 2011. Have 4 years experience in teaching Guzheng.

In 2007, She won silver award in a musical contest of Liaoning Province.

In 2008, She won a gold award in an international contest of chinese traditional instruments

In 2017 HSC music, She achieved full mark in four different pieces and was then nominated for encore.

In 2018, She won the 3rd place in the Sydeny oriental cup competition.

In 2018, She served as Guzheng Performer in Australia China Economics, Trade & culture Association annual meeting.

In 2024, She participated in the Australia-China Spring Festival Gala as a guest performer on the guzheng with the Meya Orchestra. That same year, She also took part in the recording of a traditional culture microfilm at the University of Sydney, serving as a Guzheng guest performer.

In recent years, she has been invited multiple times to serve as a traditional Guzheng culture lecturer in Sydney's primary and secondary schools. She conducts these lectures entirely in English, promoting the culture of the Guzheng.

王诗瑶，Yuki Wang

5岁学筝，师从古筝表演艺术家及高级指导教师裴冬梅，于2011年获得中国民族管弦乐学会社会艺术水平专业证书。至今已有六年以上的授课经验。2017年，师从青年古筝演奏家杨淼老师，进入中筝学院进修古筝全技法，包括古筝初中级常用技法、教学方法等。现担任悉尼芈雅中乐学院的古筝青年教师。

2007年，参加“民族声、中国情”全国青少年声乐器乐展评活动，荣获辽宁赛区银奖。

2008年，参加艺术中国青少年国际展示活动，荣获民乐类金奖。

曾在HSC音乐考试中，各表演曲目皆获得满分，并被教育局提名为悉尼歌剧院表演项目候选人。很荣幸参与《爱在悉尼湾-和方明老师在一起》朗诵会，为其现场配乐。

2018年，参加澳大利亚东方杯才艺大赛澳洲总决赛获最佳表演奖。同年，参演澳洲中华经贸文化交流促进会第三届第二次年会，担任古筝演奏嘉宾。

2024年，随芈雅乐团参加中澳春晚，担任古筝演奏嘉宾。同年，参与悉尼大学传统文化微电影的录制，担任古筝嘉宾。

近些年，多次受邀在悉尼中小学担任古筝传统文化讲师，进行全英文讲座，宣传古筝文化。
