About yaohan liu

Yaohan has been studying the Cello since the age of ten, and has studied under the Cello musicians, the Professor of Orchestral Department of China Conservatory of Music, and the Principal of Affiliated Middle School of China Conservatory of Music.

From 2010, Yaohan has been a professional Cello teacher in several colleges and is proficient in Suzuki's Cello teaching method, pedagogy and educational psychology.

In 2013, Yaohan won the Silver Award at the Cello Professional of the Hong Kong Emperor Music Competition.

In 2014, Yaohan received the Chinese National Teacher (Music) Qualification Certificate.

In 2015, Yaohan graduated from the orchestra department of the China Conservatory of Music, majoring in Cello performance.

In 2019, Yaohan graduated from the University of Wisconsin State with dual majors in Cello performance and String education. Dr. Stefan Kartman studied Cello performance and string education in school.

In the same year, she successfully completed a solo recital in the United States.

She is currently a professional Cello teacher at the Sydney Meya Conservatory of Chinese Music.

Yaohan has years of music teaching practice and research at home and abroad, has a unique teaching methods for students of all ages, follows the core of aesthetics of music, is driven by interests and hobbies, focuses on personality development, values music practice, and encourages teaching concept of music creation.

刘瑶涵，Yaohan Liu

十岁起学习大提琴专业，曾师从于大提琴演奏家、中国音乐学院管弦系教授、中国音乐学院附中校长赵嘉楠。

2010年起至今于多所院校担任大提琴专业教师，熟练掌握Suzuki大提琴演奏教学法，教育学和教育心理学。

2013年曾获香港英皇音乐比赛大提琴专业银奖。

2014年考取中国国家教师（音乐）资格证书。

2015年毕业于中国音乐学院管弦系，大提琴表演专业。

2019年毕业于美国威斯康辛州立大学，大提琴表演专业及弦乐教育学双专业研究生，并获得百分之七十五的奖学金和最高金额校长奖学金。在校期间曾跟随Stefan Kartman博士进修大提琴表演专业以及弦乐教育学专业。

同年在美国成功举办个人独奏音乐会。

现任悉尼芈雅中乐学院大提琴专业教师。

具有国内外多年教学实践与研究，熟悉海内外音乐教学体系，对各个年龄层的学生有独特的教学方式，遵循以音乐审美为核心,以兴趣爱好为动力，注重个性发展，重视音乐实践，鼓励音乐创造的教学理念。
