ABOUT philippa hu

Xiner (Philippa) Hu. Zhudi (bamboo flute) instructor at the Sydney Mia Music Institute, and a member of the Mia Orchestra. Started learning the bamboo flute at the age of 8 under the guidance of Teacher Tu Chuanyao, Executive Director of the Chinese National Society of Traditional Chinese Orchestral Music, and a National Level Performer at the Jiangxi Song and Dance Theater, as well as Teacher Dai Jinsheng, Chief Flutist of the Shanghai Opera Orchestra, and Teacher Yang Ziyin, from the Shanghai Kunqu Opera Troupe.

Achieved a Grade 10 certification through an amateur performance exam at the age of 18.

In 2015, served as the president of the Kunqu Opera Society and the bamboo flute department at East China Normal University.

Joined the University of Macau Chinese Orchestra in 2016 as the principal bamboo flute player, participating in exchange performances during the 120th-anniversary celebration of Xi'an Jiaotong University.

Took part in the cultural performance during the opening ceremony of the 2017 Asian Geographic Conference.

In 2018, participated in the Great Summer Stage at East China Normal University.

胡馨儿。悉尼芈雅中乐学院竹笛教师，芈雅乐团成员。8岁开始学习竹笛，师从中国民族管弦乐学会常务理事，江西省歌舞剧院国家一级演奏员涂传耀老师，上海歌剧院乐团笛子首席戴金生老师，及上海昆剧团司笛杨子银老师。

18岁时通过业余表演考试十级。

2015年担任华东师范大学昆曲社社长兼竹笛部部长。

2016年加入澳门大学民族管弦乐团并担任竹笛首席，随乐团赴西安交通大学120周年校庆交流演出。

2017年参演亚洲地理学大会开幕式文艺演出。

2018年参演华东师范大学大夏舞台。
