About Ashley Sui

Ashely, Erhu (Chinese Fiddle) performer, graduated from The University of Sydney with Master degree. She’s joined Meya Girls Chinese Music Band since 2015 as the first-generation member. She has achieved Level 10 (Top level) of the Erhu Performance when she was in China. Besides Erhu, Ashely plays Banhu, Gaohu as well. With her high Erhu performance skills, she left her footprint in Dalian (China) – Okinawa (Japan) culture exchange concert when she was 14 years old. Now she is contributing her energy on promoting Chinese musical culture with unlimited passion.

6岁起学习二胡、板胡等胡琴乐器，师从著名二胡演奏家朱有良老师。14岁代表大连市赴日本冲绳进行文化交流演出。

2015年受聘于悉尼芈雅中乐学院二胡教师。

2016年参加Townhall市政厅“两岸一家亲”中秋晚会及参加悉尼音乐学院“悉尼圣乐节—信仰与中国和印尼传统音乐相遇”演奏会。

2017年立足于悉尼带领海内外二胡学员参加首届中央音乐学院海外考级且均获优异成绩。

同年随芈雅乐团于悉尼歌剧院参加“东方遇见西方”艺术展演出。

同年受邀澳中文化盛典担任芈雅乐团二胡演奏以及受邀澳大利亚华谊兄弟新星盛典担任二胡演奏。

同年受邀“中国风”嘉年华音乐会担任二胡独奏。

2018年随芈雅乐团于堪培拉High court专场音乐会担任二胡演奏以及中国好声音澳洲海选总决赛开场演出。

2016-2018年连续三年参与华夏乐团圣诞新年音乐会，与国家一级二胡演奏家朱昌耀老师同台演出。
