About Alicia liu

Ms. Chenchen (Alicia) Liu, Young Chinese Lute (Pipa) Musician, Chief Player of Chinese Lute, Executive director of Yunshu Pty Ltd.

Alicia started learning Pipa at the age of 5, and was selected for Pipa major at the preparatory school affiliated with the Beijing Opera and Arts College at the age 10. She was mentored by Sun Wei Tsi, a famous virtuoso Pipa performer, educationist, Professor of Central Conservatory of Music, and maestro of Pipa.

Alicia has obtained certificates from the prestigious Beijing Opera and Arts College, Central Conservatory of Music, Chinese Musicians' Association, and won awards from national Chinese music campaigns. Alicia performed as Pipa soloist and stepped up to Pipa Chief in many occasions on national and international stages.

青年琵琶演奏家，云舒艺术集团有限公司执行董事。

5岁习琴，10岁考入北京戏曲艺术学院附小，师从中国著名琵琶教育家、演奏家、中央音乐学院教授孙维熙。

屡获中央音乐学院、中国音乐学院以及中国音乐家协会荣誉证书，国内民乐比赛大奖，多次在国内外各项演出中担任琵琶首席和琵琶独奏。

移民澳大利亚以来，致力于推广中国民乐艺术，促进中西方音乐文化交流，及中国民乐的教育普及。
